Here at Car Fixers, we are committed to a stress-free service for our customers. When your car has been damaged due to a collision with another vehicle, the two drivers may agree to settle the matter privately without involving the insurance companies. When that happens, the person at fault will be the payor, in normal cases.
We offer you a contract that can be signed by both parties. Party One the "at-Fault" or paying driver, agrees to cover the cost of Party Two's (the damaged vehicle owner) repair, including a rental car, if one is needed.
Party Two agrees that once the repairs are completed, they will not pursue the other party for any future charges.
In these cases, we hold the contract on file for 7 years, and are here in case either party requires the information.
We find that this helps all parties to feel comfortable and assured of the closure of the accident, and we treat all parties as our customers.
When this agreement is used, payment can be made in advance of the repairs, directly to Car Fixers, in person by Debit / Credit, or via telephone via Credit Card. Should the payor pay cash to the damaged party, then you as the car owner, can pay for your repair when you pickup your car after the repair is complete.
